“Stranger’s House” opens with the familiar experience of accepting a new friend on Facebook, checking out the news feed, liking photos of plants and commenting on how cute someone looks in their homemade jewellery. This is modern day friend making; it’s how we get to know one another. Of course, if you lived with a psycho family in a crazy haunted house, you probably wouldn’t post pictures of that. In his second feature film, Director Htoo Paing Zaw Oo shows the madness behind the screens and locked doors of this more than dysfunctional family.
