Tin Win Naing
Running Time: 72'
After filming political footage, Myanmar filmmaker Tin Win Naing must flee his country. As a refugee amongst refugees in Thailand, his camera becomes the most important tool to survive and overcome the many days away from home. For the filmmaker, the process of portraying three families of Myanmar migrant workers toiling on the fields of Thailand under conditions tantamount to modern slavery opens up a new perspective on old ideals.
